Student mobility is an integral component of the Melbourne Model as the University seeks to broaden learning experiences, not only across academic disciplines, but across the globe. By taking part in an exchange or other international student mobility program you will have an opportunity to immerse yourself in a different social, cultural and intellectual milieu, thereby adding an international perspective to your studies.
All students are actively encouraged to undertake exchange as part of their studies. The University of Melbourne offers a range of scholarships, bursaries, and other funding options to help you complete part of your course at one of over 120 partner institutions, in 31 countries across the world.
From 2009 onwards, a minimum of 800 Melbourne Abroad scholarships will be awarded each year. The scholarships, with a value of up to $2500, will be awarded to eligible students to support their participation in Study Abroad or Exchange programs in their second or third year of undergraduate study.
